Sky Services UK/New Horizon Resorts

It has been brought to our attention that Sky Services UK/New Horizon Resorts are using our company name and logo in an unauthorized manner and are making untrue statements, advertising that consumers’ rights in New Horizon Resorts are legally protected by us

Neither Hutchinson & Co Trust Company Limited, nor any of its associated companies are involved with Sky Services UK/New Horizon Resorts.

We would advise consumers to be cautious about approaches made by entities not associated with our Company and any questions or requests for clarification should be emailed to us on enquiries@hutchtrust.co.uk.

Ramirez & Ramirez Abogados

It has recently been brought to our attention that Ramirez & Ramirez Abogados, a law firm operating on the Costa del Sol, claims to be a Class Action law firm and implies on its website that Hutchinson & Co Trust Company Ltd [“Hutchinson”] has been involved in illegal activity.

After consultation with the industry body RDO, it seems that Ramirez & Ramirez Abogados uses the cold call approach to contact victims of bogus holiday clubs, timeshare resale firms, cash back schemes, etc, always asking for upfront payments, offering to take such companies to court in Spain. The RDO Enforcement team advises all timeshare owners against making any kind of payment to Ramirez & Ramirez Abogados SL. Please also note that advance payments are forbidden according to the new European Directive, which came into force in February 2011.

We also understand that the Spanish Authorities have shown an interest in Ramirez & Ramirez Abogados. Unauthorized use of our name and logo

It has been brought to our notice that various companies in Singapore are using our company name and logo in an unauthorized manner and making untrue statements to Viva Le Concierge, Holiday Plus (Asia) and other timeshare Members in relation to a pay-out supposedly organised by these companies and guaranteed by Hutchinson & Co Trust Company Limited.

We would like to categorically state that neither Hutchinson & Co Trust Company Limited, nor any of its associated companies have a representative office in Singapore and never has or will promote a paid termination service for Club memberships where we act as Trustees.

We advise members of these Clubs and other timeshare members to be cautious about approaches made by entities not associated with our Company and should they have any questions, or queries, to contact us on enquiries@hutchtrust.co.uk

We can however confirm that Hutchinson & Co Trust Company Ltd, trading as Title Trustees International, provides certain Trustee services to Realty Access Limited, which is currently promoted in Singapore by a number of independent marketing companies.

Special announcement from RDO

IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE BEEN DEFRAUDED, READ ON...

If you have been invited to a presentation to discuss ways in which to dispose of your timeshare/ points or to join a class action scheme against your resort developer but then signed up for membership of a holiday club, we would like to hear from you.

The European trade body for timeshare, *RDO (Resort Development Organisation) is currently looking into the activities of a number of holiday clubs that we believe are deliberately misleading timeshare owners and signing them up to holiday clubs, often with the promise that any money paid will be recouped through a cashback scheme.

To submit a complaint to RDO, please email our enforcement team on enforcement@rdo.org, providing the following information:

	-A brief summary of your experience
	-A copy of the contract you signed
	-Copies of any other relevant correspondence
	-Confirmation of monies paid to date

Although RDO cannot intervene directly on your behalf, your assistance in building up a picture of the activities that harm timeshare owners is crucial to our work in safeguarding consumers’ interests.
